You own the accelerator for the speed of your own work and the work of those you lead.— Alan Willet, Immutable Law of Speed#1 from Lead With Speed

It is nice when interests overlap.

  • My book, Lead With Speed, is available for pre-order now and will be available for your reading on May 1st, 2020.  (Details on the book, including a preview of sections, is here.)
  • I enjoy having good T-Shirts.

I have collected T-Shirts from bands, from running races, and from interesting locations.  I remember running the 20th anniversary of a race wearing the T-Shirt from the original race.  At that point, the T-shirt was rather worn with a few holes, but it did garner lots of positive attention.

At the intersection of these two interests, I am creating something fun.  My awesome design artist at Blink Digital has developed multiple concepts for a shirt that celebrates the launch of Lead With Speed.  I have narrowed it down to two major concepts.

My question is – which shirt do you prefer?  The one on the right on the one of the left?

Do You Need a Win?

A client wrote to me recently with a note that said simply “I need a win.” Have you been there, where it feels like you have faced a sudden losing streak and quite simply there is a need for a win? I have. I expect Elon Musk is looking for one with Tesla.
